An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Silbestre in the 28th minute of play forced Ciudacita AFC's goalkeeper Raul Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chacaicó FC's Leonides Ilazki got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Ruben Cheche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Lartaun was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Ruben Cheche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacaicó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fausto Mouricio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Sixto Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudacita AFC. After the first half Chacaicó FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruben Javiero was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ciudacita AFC booed when Chacaicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd match minute, Ciudacita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Ciudacita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Silbestre came free, but Raul Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ruben Cheche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Lartaun was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Ciudacita AFC's Ruben Javiero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fausto Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Ciudacita AFC's Ruben Javiero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Ihintza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixto Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Ihintza having to interfere. The supporters of Ciudacita AFC booed when Chacaicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chacaicó FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
