Florentino Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Domingues scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Lixandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute of the match Fabricio Artaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Lixandro skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Inter FC defense, Fidel Luzaide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Lixandro. The Inter FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Lixandro should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Remigio Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Gogo Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Lixandro. Inter FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Inter FC booed when CoronaV FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Alfredo Chepe from a close distance when the talented Jeronimo Gerazan managed to make a qualified save. CoronaV FC's players were relieved. 46 minutes into the game, Melquiades Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CoronaV FC the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Inter FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Florentino Alfonso scored to the left of an out of position Edelmiro Lixandro, making the score, 0-5. When CoronaV FC's Joel Paio in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Florentino Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CoronaV FC's Florentino Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Fidel Luzaide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Lixandro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. CoronaV FC's Pastor Toro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edelmiro Lixandro but with some difficulty. Joel Paio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edelmiro Lixandro came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Paio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, CoronaV FC's Pastor Toro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alfredo Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Gerazan having to interfere. Jeronimo Gerazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes CoronaV FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Malvin. Fidel Luzaide succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Pastor Toro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. CoronaV FC played a much better game than Inter FC and deserved their victory. The Inter FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
