After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Banfield's zone, Leandro Sidoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Hunfredo came out of the goal and Leandro Sidoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Hunfredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Couto went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Banfield's Ruperto Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王益政 in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Couto came free, but Ruperto Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute 王益政 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jens Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Banfield's Manuel Oinaz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Jonas Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Abecia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王益政 in the 44th minute of play forced Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Ruperto Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Abecia scored 1-5 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Beyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Club Atlético Banfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boca Juniors were winning 1-5.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Alejo Fortun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Club Atlético Banfield getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jonas Abecia hit a great ball. When Jonas Abecia got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. In the 68th minute, Jonas Abecia made a precise shot to the right of Jens Beyer. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Ruperto Hunfredo was a little too slow when Hugo Couto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-7. Paolo Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Ruperto Hunfredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 王益政. Ruperto Hunfredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jens Beyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Jonas Abecia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Banfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-7. 83 minutes into the match, Paolo Serapio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruperto Hunfredo, 3-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Couto in the 88th minute of play forced Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper Ruperto Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Hunfredo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Hugo Couto. But to his dismay, Hugo Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-9. 王益政 kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Boca Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
