In the 44th minute Romulo Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Paulino Oroitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Ticho went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Oroitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Niceto Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Manuel Belgrano were the better team. Manuel Belgrano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
