Hugo Fiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 16th minute, Rolando Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Ülo Annast managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MATEMATICOS DEL 41's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ülo Annast was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Fiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Obeko in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Salvador Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Fiz came out of the goal and Salvador Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Roman Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club Atlético River Plate's Hugo Fiz got control of the ball when Joaquin Fe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Cesar Obeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Fiz came out of the goal and Cesar Obeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Bernebe came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético River Plate's Zacarias Kismi. But to his dismay, Zacarias Kismi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Ülo Annast came free, but Hugo Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Innocenzio in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Fiz saved Club Atlético River Plate from getting behind. Octavio Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Zacarias Kismi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Octavio Bernebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Heriberto to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Salvador Innocenzio sped through Club Atlético River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Fiz. When Daniel Johans fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético River Plate's protests and gave Daniel Johans a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Ülo Annast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Fiz having to interfere. Hugo Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Innocenzio in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Cesar Obeko notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Club Atlético River Plate's Hugo Fiz. Hugo Fiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. MATEMATICOS DEL 41's Ülo Annast got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ülo Annast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Fiz having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
