Victoriano Manuelo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Idiazábal's goalkeeper Prudencio Beat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Ugaitz. Prudencio Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manny Colomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Idiazábal booed when CELTICS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. CELTICS's Angel Inocente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Locaio in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Idiazábal's Prudencio Beat got control of the ball when Eduardo Ugaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Idiazábal's Prudencio Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Llanos in the 33rd minute of play. Donato Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Idiazábal's Prudencio Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Idiazábal from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Rafel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Beat. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. The supporters of Idiazábal booed when CELTICS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Rafel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Prudencio Beat came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CELTICS's Manny Colomo. But to his dismay, Manny Colomo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 56th minute, Damazy Tworek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Beat came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by CELTICS's Basilio Llanos. But to his dismay, Basilio Llanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 65 minutes of play, CELTICS's Manny Colomo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Beat was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Llanos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Beat saved Idiazábal from getting behind. Prudencio Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CELTICS's Donato Rafel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prudencio Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Rafel in the 89th minute of play. Angel Inocente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Etxekopar in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Eduardo Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
