In the 13th minute, Taquello AFC's Patricio Cordarryl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Patricio Cordarryl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Taquello AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Patricio Cordarryl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Patricio Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Juan Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Prudencio Beat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Locaio in the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nestor Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Librado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Beat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gaspar Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Idiazábal's Prudencio Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Idiazábal from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Ponce charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Ponce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Idiazábal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vicente Etxekopar scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Tulio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Taquello AFC defense, Romeo Locaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Tulio. The Taquello AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Tulio should have stopped the shot. The Taquello AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Idiazábal were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Mundo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Idiazábal's Vicente Etxekopar got a free kick in the 54th minute. Juan Mundo scored 1-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Beat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaspar Tulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Amor went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Taquello AFC's Gaspar Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Locaio in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Locaio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Tulio saved Taquello AFC from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Idiazábal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Amor to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Amor in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Idiazábal's Marcelino Ponce got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Taquello AFC's Gaspar Tulio got control of the ball when Ezequiel Iigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaspar Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Amor in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Marcelino Ponce took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Gaspar Tulio to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Idiazábal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taquello AFC.
