An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Librado in the 20th minute of play forced Idiazábal's goalkeeper Prudencio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Idiazábal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Locaio to maneuver through the defense. Juan Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Locaio's late challenge caught a Taquello AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Locaio helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the match, Taquello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Locaio came free, but Gaspar Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Taquello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Iraitz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Locaio got free with Gaspar Tulio in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeo Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Tulio having to interfere. If Carlos Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Iraitz was the one to do the kick off. Nicanor Castel kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Romeo Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Romeo Locaio made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Tulio. Taquello AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gaspar Tulio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaspar Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Taquello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Iraitz to maneuver through the defense.
