After 19 played minutes Rogelio Elodio rounded Cataratas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 22nd minute of the match, Rogelio Elodio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Pio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, ROJA Y BLANCA's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gomes came free, but Flavio Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Flavio Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cataratas booed when ROJA Y BLANCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Astor Erramu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cataratas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Simon Lordi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Pio. Simon Lordi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 48th minute, ROJA Y BLANCA's Rogelio Elodio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Erlantz in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Rafael Gomes took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Flavio Rios to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the match, ROJA Y BLANCA's goalkeeper Flavio Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Erramu. If Astor Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Astor Erramu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cataratas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Erramu couldn't finish the play. Rafael Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Rios having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Leonel Erlantz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROJA Y BLANCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cataratas the free kick. After a rather tough play, ROJA Y BLANCA's Leonel Erlantz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Cataratas's Benito Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Lordi in the 81st minute of play. In the 94th match minute, ROJA Y BLANCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. The ROJA Y BLANCA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cataratas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
