Spectators: 6647 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 0) Gösta Landin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Nuñez in the 3rd minute of play forced Tapalqué's goalkeeper Ramon Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Virgilio Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Español's Gonzalo Nuñez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Filipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tapalqué's zone, Gösta Landin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Filipo came out of the goal and Gösta Landin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremias Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Heuchel having to interfere. If Gonzalo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Landin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Filipo. Ramon Filipo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Club Deportivo Español's Gonzalo Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Club Deportivo Español were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ramon Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Eron in the 65th minute of play. If Hieronim Zuelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hieronim Zuelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Zuelle got in the 74th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ramon Filipo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gösta Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Zuelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ramon Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gösta Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Landin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Filipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Hieronim Zuelle rounded Tapalqué's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3.
