Arnoldo Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Tandil FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Sidro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Miroslaw Michalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Saturnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paulino Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Tab having to interfere. Arnoldo Porfirio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ennio Lorefice went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Miroslaw Michalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Porfirio having to interfere. Honorato Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Palomas's Cleto Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Tab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tandil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
