Palmar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Taboada FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hugo Elequemedo hit a great ball. 周烨扬 came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Taboada FC's Per-Olof Pilblad. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Pilblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per-Olof Pilblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 周烨扬. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Olof Pilblad ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Taboada FC. Candido Ralondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 周烨扬. 0-2. Per-Olof Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Per-Olof Pilblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taboada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Olof Pilblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Dubardo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 周烨扬. 周烨扬 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 39 minutes, Arturo Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Palmar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Pilblad came free, but 周烨扬 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmar FC's goalkeeper 周烨扬, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Dubardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Damaso Dubardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 周烨扬 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Taboada FC's Per-Olof Pilblad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 周烨扬. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, Palmar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Pilblad came free, but 周烨扬 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Quirce's late challenge caught a Taboada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Quirce helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarias Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Per-Olof Pilblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. 周烨扬 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Taboada FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Grama. Edgardo Matai scored 0-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 周烨扬, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Demesio in the 90th minute of the match. Damaso Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 周烨扬 having to interfere. The supporters of Taboada FC booed when Palmar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Palmar FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taboada FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
