After a rather tough play, Tonono's Narciso Gabon got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mauricio Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Ahlbom having to interfere. Vernon Winterburn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Eskuin having to make a save. Francisco Eskuin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Inguma went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hans Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Tonono's goalkeeper Francisco Eskuin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vernon Winterburn. In the 27th minute, Tonono's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vernon Winterburn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tonono's goalkeeper Francisco Eskuin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Ixona in the 34th minute of play forced Fuerte Fortín's goalkeeper Hans Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vernon Winterburn in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisco Eskuin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 36 minutes into the game, Fuerte Fortín's Baldomero Inguma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Eskuin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Hans Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ixona in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vernon Winterburn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vernon Winterburn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Eskuin. Tonono's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vernon Winterburn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Baldomero Inguma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerte Fortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Inguma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Fuerte Fortín's Baldomero Inguma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Eskuin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Baldomero Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Eskuin having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Tonono's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Winterburn came free, but Francisco Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tiburcio Blasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tonono getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Narciso Gabon hit a great ball. Vernon Winterburn struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Francisco Eskuin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerte Fortín. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vernon Winterburn in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Eskuin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Vernon Winterburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Fuerte Fortín's Vernon Winterburn made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Eskuin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vernon Winterburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vernon Winterburn in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Eskuin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernon Winterburn in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Fuerte Fortín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
