Spectators: 7105 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnoldo Unax started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for La Tranquera FC. Arnoldo Unax stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanio Loren. 0-1. After some careless play in the Tortugas defense, Alejandro Ferrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Loren. The Tortugas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Loren should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Arnoldo Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Ferrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Matias Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Dante Guerau sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tortugas's Epifanio Loren didn't even have to move. Alejandro Ferrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Loren having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Adan Miliano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Rocendo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Marcelo Olivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Epifanio Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Tranquera FC made a substitution. Domingos Marz replaced Arnoldo Unax. 64 minutes into the game, Sixto Lizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortugas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Tranquera FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Tortugas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Tranquera FC:s goal. The referee gave La Tranquera FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domingos Marz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tortugas's Epifanio Loren. 1-5. If Domingos Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When La Tranquera FC's Domingos Marz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Epifanio Loren managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when La Tranquera FC's Domingos Marz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Epifanio Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Ferrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Tranquera FC's Domingos Marz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Alejandro Ferrero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Loren, 1-6. After 90 played minutes Tortugas got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Pedroso. When Alejandro Ferrero came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the La Tranquera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Ferrero couldn't finish the play.
