Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octavio Elequemedo got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Octavio Elequemedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goyeneche and the Niquivil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goyeneche reached it. The supporters of Goyeneche booed when Niquivil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Eustaquio Fernado shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Niquivil FC's Vahur Annion to catch but Eustaquio Fernado was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Vahur Annion came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Goyeneche's Honorato Luzea. But to his dismay, Honorato Luzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Hipolito Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goyeneche's Mauricio Galo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Rios in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goyeneche's Egil Sjöberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyeneche's goalkeeper Mauricio Galo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vahur Annion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Elequemedo in the 31st minute of play. Egil Sjöberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Hipolito Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Rios was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hipolito Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niquivil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Ongile kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Niquivil FC's Vahur Annion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Niquivil FC from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes Honorato Luzea rounded Niquivil FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Antonio Silbestre hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Hipolito Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mauricio Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Hipolito Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hipolito Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahur Annion was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Octavio Elequemedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavio Elequemedo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 81st minute, Flavio Ongile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahur Annion made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Honorato Luzea sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes of play, Goyeneche's Egil Sjöberg made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vahur Annion was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niquivil FC's Vahur Annion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Niquivil FC from getting a goal against them.
