An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Seber in the 13th minute of play forced RACINGUS's goalkeeper Damaso Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, RACINGUS's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Anaya came free, but Damaso Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Isótopos de Albuquerque's Artemio Evangelista got control of the ball when Eustacio Tonio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Isótopos de Albuquerque's goalkeeper Artemio Evangelista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Tonio. RACINGUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Ursino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Tonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martín Emilianu made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luisito Ereinotz however managed to control. Mauro Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
