The supporters of Malvinas FC booed when Mansupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Malvinas FC's Vedran Mikulić got control of the ball when Ramon Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Maximiliano Arnalt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Maradona in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Javiar saved Mansupa from getting behind. Vinicio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Arnalt in the 40th minute of play. Conrado Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Vinicio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Maradona was the one to do the kick off. Vinicio Javiar made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Armando Maradona sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes, Anacleto Clementi mouthed his way into the referee's book. Vedran Mikulić had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Atilano Hever's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Mansupa's goalkeeper Vinicio Javiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Maradona. In the 87th minute Maximiliano Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's Maximiliano Arnalt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malvinas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
