Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Delmiro Seguinus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Simbolar's Wilfredo Goiz got control of the ball when Delmiro Seguinus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Simbolar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Seguinus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilfredo Goiz. Simbolar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Cristo Fernado fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Santa Fé's protests and gave Cristo Fernado a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Bartolome took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Montrell. Clube Santa Fé's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Simbolar defense, Delmiro Seguinus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Goiz. The Simbolar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Goiz should have stopped the shot. Clube Santa Fé's Jairo Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Bela in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Santa Fé's Cristo Fernado got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Clube Santa Fé's Delmiro Seguinus in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simbolar's goalie prevented a goal. Elias Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Goiz having to interfere. If Fausto Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Bela was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Simbolar getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Matias Cesario hit a great ball. Jairo Montrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Bela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Generoso Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Sazon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Goiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Seguinus in the 67th minute of the match. Delmiro Seguinus might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Goiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Seguinus ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fausto Bela came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Simbolar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Bela couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Goiz was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Delmiro Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wilfredo Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Goiz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Santa Fé's Delmiro Seguinus. But to his dismay, Delmiro Seguinus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Wilfredo Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Matias Cesario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Montrell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Simbolar's goalkeeper Wilfredo Goiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Goiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Seguinus's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Clube Santa Fé walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
