Geronimo Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fidel Osmundo made a huge save. If Celso Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Belgrano booed when Alsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciano Devesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Fidel Osmundo managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Alsa FC's Geronimo Chago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geronimo Chago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Fidel Osmundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Celso Esquipula struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fidel Osmundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsa FC. After 23 minutes, Reynaldo Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Belgrano and the Alsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Clementi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Godfredo Clementi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Gustavo Rios fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Belgrano's protests and gave Gustavo Rios a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Rios hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Geronimo Chago might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Chago ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th match minute, Club Atlético Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Rios to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Chago in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Osmundo saved Club Atlético Belgrano from getting behind. Celso Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Osmundo having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Belgrano's goalkeeper Fidel Osmundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Geronimo Chago came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Alsa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Chago couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Alsa FC's Celso Esquipula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Osmundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Celso Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celso Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fidel Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Chago in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Osmundo saved Club Atlético Belgrano from getting behind. In the 80th minute Celso Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Alsa FC's Celso Esquipula made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Osmundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alsa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Ladio in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Froilan Ladio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Belgrano's Fidel Osmundo did a great save. Celso Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Alsa FC were the better team. Alsa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
