Clodoveo Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Victorino Rosalio made a huge save. Villa Dalmine FC's Victorino Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Ralondo in the 7th minute of play. Victorino Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estrella Roja de Belgrado's Marciano Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Polentzi in the 17th minute of play. Bonifacio Artaldo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Rosalio. Victorino Rosalio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th minute, Nemesio Fraco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Gorri hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Alonso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victorino Rosalio firmly grabbed it by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Villa Dalmine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Ralondo came free, but Victorino Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Roja de Belgrado's zone, Ciriaco Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Mino came out of the goal and Ciriaco Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Polentzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Eliu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Roja de Belgrado's zone, Ciriaco Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Mino came out of the goal and Ciriaco Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Urdin's late challenge caught a Estrella Roja de Belgrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Urdin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Estrella Roja de Belgrado booed when Villa Dalmine FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Dalmine FC's Victorino Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Ralondo in the 65th minute of play. Ciriaco Polentzi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marciano Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Dalmine FC. 74 minutes into the match, Villa Dalmine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Policarpio came free, but Victorino Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Estrella Roja de Belgrado booed when Villa Dalmine FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Severiano Estefan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Rosalio skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd minute Gogo Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Rosalio came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrella Roja de Belgrado's Gogo Policarpio. But to his dismay, Gogo Policarpio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Villa Dalmine FC's Erubiel Orti got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes, Estrella Roja de Belgrado's Severiano Estefan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorino Rosalio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estrella Roja de Belgrado reached it. Nemesio Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Estrella Roja de Belgrado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
