Marcial Iratzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Palmarcito's Marcial Iratzeder threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Ler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 11 in the game by Benito Oliverios from a close distance when the talented Marcial Iratzeder managed to make a qualified save. yupanqui's players were relieved. yupanqui's Marcial Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Orkatz in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Palmarcito getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Horacio Cordeal hit a great ball. Tadeo Oroitz scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Eneto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. yupanqui's Marcial Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Ler in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Palmarcito's Gustavo Orkatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 28th minute Vladimiro Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eneto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Palmarcito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Ricart struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Mauro Eneto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for yupanqui. After 38 minutes of play, Palmarcito's Benito Oliverios made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Iratzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeo Oroitz's late challenge caught a Palmarcito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeo Oroitz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Oliverios to make the kick off. Marcial Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Ler in the 53rd minute of the match. Palmarcito's attentive Sixto Quico managed to snatch the ball when Bernabe Fidensio made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Claudio Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Tadeo Oroitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Palmarcito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Tadeo Oroitz scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Eneto, making the score, 2-2. In the 71st minute Benito Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Palmarcito got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Orkatz. 86 minutes into the match, Palmarcito's goalkeeper Mauro Eneto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Ricart. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
