GONZALEZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Clemente Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GONZALEZ booed when Guerrero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Benedicto Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Atauri in the 39th minute of play forced Guerrero AFC's goalkeeper Federico Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Elivareo was the one to do the kick off. Federico Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Guerrero AFC's Federico Fidensio got control of the ball when Benedicto Maura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guerrero AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
