The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MegaPincha's Bernardo Tiso got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MegaPincha's Guillermo Baleren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save MegaPincha from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, MegaPincha's Guillermo Baleren got control of the ball when Benjamin Galsino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, MegaPincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Tiso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Suero was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Dante Suero came out of the goal and Daniel Camerino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MegaPincha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Volta FC's goalkeeper Dante Suero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of MegaPincha booed when Volta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Baleren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Matxin in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Tiso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Tiso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dante Suero made a huge save. After 75 played minutes, Volta FC's Tomas Atarratze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Baleren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Volta FC reached it. Bernardo Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Suero having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Bernardo Tiso put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Suero. Bernardo Tiso scored 0-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Suero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Bernardo Tiso notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Volta FC's Dante Suero. Dante Suero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Volta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute of the game, MegaPincha got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. When the match was over MegaPincha could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Volta FC throughout the match.
