Aristides Eztebe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fortunato Maestri. Santos Guib hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Filiberto Donio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Eztebe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Donio got free with Aristides Eztebe in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jonas Tino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Dalmau was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jonas Tino sped through Catamarca FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Dalmau. Gustavo Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Piarres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Temperley Lokura getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gustavo Piarres hit a great ball. Aristides Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Filiberto Donio sent off a good shot on target. Epifanio Dalmau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Tino in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Temperley Lokura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Guib to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes, Filiberto Donio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Temperley Lokura's Aristides Eztebe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Donio in the 46th minute. If Hector Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match Gustavo Piarres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Dalmau skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Filiberto Donio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aristides Eztebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aristides Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Donio in the 61st minute of the match. Aristides Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Donio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catamarca FC's Isidoro Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Catamarca FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Donio. After 69 minutes, Isidoro Roldanillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catamarca FC and the Temperley Lokura players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Catamarca FC's Isidoro Roldanillo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Epifanio Dalmau made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Nereo Abeitia sent off a good shot on target. After 74th play minutes Filiberto Donio shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Aristides Eztebe and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonas Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Eztebe was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Aristides Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Donio in the 91st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Filiberto Donio put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Eztebe. Catamarca FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
