After having played for 2 minutes, Benedicto Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo U2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Karmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute, Deportivo U2's Faustino Esdras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to La Chicholina getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tomás Gudesteo hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Basilio Frasquito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Pancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Benito Marques put in a rough tackle. When Aladár Gyarmathy came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Deportivo U2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aladár Gyarmathy couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Santo Jokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Esdras, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Benedicto Karmel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a little luck, La Chicholina's Gerardo Pancho got control of the ball when Zacarias Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Pancho made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Basilio Frasquito sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Chicholina's Gerardo Pancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save La Chicholina from getting a goal against them. Alonzo Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Mikeldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Chicholina's Alonzo Mikeldi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Gerardo Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Frasquito in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Esdras made a kick off. In the 51st minute Faustino Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Medardo in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, La Chicholina's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Frasquito came free, but Gerardo Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo U2's attentive Anier Benvide managed to snatch the ball when Alonzo Mikeldi made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Deportivo U2 got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Medardo. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Basilio Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo U2's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo U2's Aquilino Hori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo U2 from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Basilio Frasquito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Gerardo Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Medardo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Pancho. Gerardo Pancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some careless play in the La Chicholina defense, Anier Benvide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Pancho. The La Chicholina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Pancho should have stopped the shot. After 87 played minutes Deportivo U2 got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Karmel. Paolo Semeno was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Deportivo U2 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
