Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) When Hugon Lipinski came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the La Banda de Gadin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Lipinski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Esdras in the 7th minute of play forced La Banda de Gadin's goalkeeper Epifanio Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Medardo in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Faustino Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Deportivo U2 got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Esdras. The La Banda de Gadin fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when La Banda de Gadin's Tenyo Dashov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, one of Deportivo U2:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo U2. German Barto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Faustino Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Peio having to interfere. Epifanio Peio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Esdras went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo U2's Aquilino Hori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo U2 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Lipinski in the 31st minute of play forced Deportivo U2's goalkeeper Aquilino Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Lipinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Hori came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugon Lipinski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 33rd minute. Gogo Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tenyo Dashov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo U2's Aquilino Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tenyo Dashov in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Deportivo U2's Basilio Frasquito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of Deportivo U2 booed when La Banda de Gadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tenyo Dashov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Esdras hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugon Lipinski was the one to do the kick off. Aquilino Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tenyo Dashov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Peio made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Zacarias Medardo sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, La Banda de Gadin's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Frasquito came free, but Epifanio Peio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Esdras in the 60th minute of play forced La Banda de Gadin's goalkeeper Epifanio Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Iurie Ficsinescu put in a rough tackle. In the 61st minute, one of La Banda de Gadin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Banda de Gadin. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo U2. Aladár Gyarmathy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanio Peio. 2-3. In the 67th minute of the match, Benedicto Karmel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Epifanio Peio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Epifanio Peio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Peio came out of the goal and Faustino Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo U2's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Lipinski came free, but Aquilino Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Basilio Frasquito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Peio. That made the score 2-4 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute, La Banda de Gadin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Faustino Esdras fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Deportivo U2 booed when La Banda de Gadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Banda de Gadin's Epifanio Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Esdras in the 84th minute of play. When Tenyo Dashov fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Banda de Gadin's protests and gave Tenyo Dashov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Robustiano Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Esdras in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Esdras in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Peio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Deportivo U2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Benvide to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo U2 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
