The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Uhin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo das Neves got free with Eliseo Ursino in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdo das Neves succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 16 played minutes Banda Norte got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Benvide. With 18 minutes on the clock, Aquiles Fonso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banda Norte! Banda Norte:s Francisco Duarte showed great skill when he stopped Ubaldo Ruisko:s penalty. Banda Norte's Valdo das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes, Victorica AFC's Arnaldo Mouricio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Duarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Victorica AFC reached it. Blas Jakes scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdo das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Ursino having to make a save. Venerando Aguilar scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venerando Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdo das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Ursino having to interfere. Victorica AFC's Eliseo Ursino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Victorica AFC from getting a goal against them. Valdo das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Ursino having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo das Neves to make the kick off. Valdo das Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Ursino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo das Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. Banda Norte's Francisco Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Banda Norte from getting a goal against them. Venerando Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorica AFC's Eliseo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo das Neves in the 69th minute of play. If Venerando Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo das Neves in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Ursino came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Banda Norte's Venerando Aguilar. But to his dismay, Venerando Aguilar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Valdo das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Ursino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Banda Norte getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Amado Ireno hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Jakes got free with Francisco Duarte in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes Banda Norte got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Polo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Banda Norte had played much better football throughout.
