Christian Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Ismael Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo FC's Denis Truylos got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Burni in the 14th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Bs As's goalkeeper Christian Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potrerillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Ongile in the 16th minute. The corner led Potrerillo FC's Julian Argoitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Umbruso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19th play minutes Narciso Nuno shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Christian Umbruso and just under the crossbar into goal. Alfredo Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gregorio Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Alfredo Vitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Eladio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With 30 minutes on the clock, Uriel Madeo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potrerillo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Gregorio Eladio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo FC's Denis Truylos got a free kick in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de Bs As's Wictor Vinström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregorio Eladio. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillo FC's zone, Alfredo Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Eladio came out of the goal and Alfredo Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wictor Vinström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wictor Vinström came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Estudiantes de Bs As fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wictor Vinström couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Alfredo Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Potrerillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Steven to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Potrerillo FC booed when Estudiantes de Bs As was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Erubiel Charro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potrerillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de Bs As the free kick. The supporters of Estudiantes de Bs As booed when Potrerillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Nuno got free with Christian Umbruso in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estudiantes de Bs As made a substitution. Nestor Larpe replaced Alfredo Vitin. In the 71st match minute, Potrerillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Charro to maneuver through the defense. Potrerillo FC's Gregorio Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Vinström in the 74th minute of play. Wictor Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gregorio Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nestor Larpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Eladio was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Narciso Nuno came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Potrerillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Nuno couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Eladio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de Bs As's Nestor Larpe. But to his dismay, Nestor Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Wictor Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Nuno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Christian Umbruso made a huge save. There was no doubt that Estudiantes de Bs As were the better team. Estudiantes de Bs As's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
