Aurelio Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baldomiro Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Bembe having to interfere. Baldomiro Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Ticho in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salasevicius de Rosario's Dionisio Paul got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Ticho got free with Baldomiro Bembe in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ramon Abastas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salasevicius de Rosario's Baldomiro Bembe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Tomas Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, San Martin de Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Morat to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Salasevicius de Rosario getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rosendo Lehior hit a great ball. Aurelio Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Abastas in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Bembe saved Salasevicius de Rosario from getting behind. Salasevicius de Rosario's Baldomiro Bembe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Salasevicius de Rosario from getting a goal against them. Ramon Abastas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Bembe having to make a save. Baldomiro Bembe was a little too slow when Cayetano Ticho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Paul was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Ticho took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Bembe. Baldomiro Bembe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Abastas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Bembe saved Salasevicius de Rosario from getting behind. Cayetano Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aaron Guib fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salasevicius de Rosario's protests and gave Aaron Guib a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Abastas in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Bembe saved Salasevicius de Rosario from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Salasevicius de Rosario's Aaron Guib got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cayetano Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Martin de Tucumán's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Ticho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Ticho in the 92nd minute of play. Baldomiro Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
