Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Ovando booed when Pirata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Berbiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Manilan made a huge save. With a little luck, Pirata FC's Eleuterio Manilan got control of the ball when Ruben Berbiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Abel Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovando's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Euloxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Blanco hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ovando's Ruben Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Pirata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邵强悦 to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Ovando's Ruben Berbiz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eleuterio Manilan. 35 minutes into the match, Santos Gonsalvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Natal. Ovando's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Gonsalvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ruben Berbiz had several of the Pirata FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Eleuterio Manilan as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ruben Berbiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Manilan was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, Ovando was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Arias to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Ciano in the 71st minute of play forced Ovando's goalkeeper Zeledon Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Araoz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Araoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ovando getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gilberto Araoz hit a great ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Ruben Berbiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirata FC's Eleuterio Manilan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Ruben Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Manilan. Christian Ramond charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Ramond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ovando getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Christian Ramond hit a great ball. Abel Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eleuterio Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
