But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Errando couldn't finish the play. When Arnulfo Soter fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garuapé AFC's protests and gave Arnulfo Soter a yellow card for diving instead. Arnulfo Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Apolo Lluques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Hanot. Garuapé AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 10th minute, Roque Errando made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Hanot. Garuapé AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Errando in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Hanot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 27 minutes, Roque Errando made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Garuapé AFC's Eugenio Hanot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Errando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Roque Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Errando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
