Ruperto Obeko went to the cornerflag to take it. 10 minutes into the game, FENIX's Rosendo Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Urko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute Rosendo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Cruz in the 18th minute of the match. If Ruperto Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevie-Ray Gerrard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Sandalio having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Teodoro Pagomari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENIX and the Morales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodoro Pagomari hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Shen Xing Yue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FENIX booed when Morales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Orixe, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute, Ernesto Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Francis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Anastasio Urko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENIX. Shen Xing Yue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 minutes of play, FENIX's Justino Francis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Urko was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Justino Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Justino Francis put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasio Urko. If Teodoro Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justino Francis took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Urko. Anastasio Urko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morales FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Orixe was slow to take the kick. During this time FENIX's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FENIX's Arnaldo Orixe to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Urko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Justino Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Anastasio Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Francis in the 84th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Rosendo Cruz sped through Morales FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anastasio Urko. If Rosendo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FENIX fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when FENIX's Justino Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over FENIX could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morales FC throughout the match.
