The audience was convinced that Justino Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Nahia was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Maximiliano Aragones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Nemesio Sandalio made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, A C La Chola's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Francis came free, but Guillermo Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FENIX fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FENIX's Justino Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guillermo Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Cruz in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, FENIX's Shen Xing Yue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Nahia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Nahia having to interfere. A collision led to A C La Chola getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nemesio Veremundo hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, A C La Chola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Bikendi to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, FENIX's Justino Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Nahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Shen Xing Yue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Tiso to strike the kick off in the second half. Justino Francis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Guillermo Nahia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENIX. Horacio Rio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Rio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes A C La Chola got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Rio. In the 67thth minute of the game Justino Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A C La Chola's Guillermo Nahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shen Xing Yue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Guillermo Nahia made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Shen Xing Yue took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Guillermo Nahia to make any attempt to save it. Justino Franciss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Guillermo Nahia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Cruz got free with Guillermo Nahia in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
