In the 10th match minute, Durañona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Sabin to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes, Fragueiro AFC's German Eyague shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Everardo Jokin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fragueiro AFC reached it. 20 minutes into the match, Fragueiro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Frisco came free, but Sergio Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Durañona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Frisco. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Agustin Frisco took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sergio Otoniel to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Frederico in the 35th minute of play forced Durañona AFC's goalkeeper Everardo Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Alén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sergio Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Durañona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lucila. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Frederico to make the kick off. Sergio Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Agustin Frisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Otoniel. Fragueiro AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Frisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sergio Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Otoniel having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Fragueiro AFC's Celedonio Quintyn made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Jokin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Eneko kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Fragueiro AFC booed when Durañona AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Durañona AFC's zone, Victorino Frederico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Jokin came out of the goal and Victorino Frederico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Durañona AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
