Spectators: 7014 (Terracing: 5338, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 40) Covunco's Rafal Wrzosek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Covunco booed when ATL. POTRERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Eufemio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Covunco's Rafal Wrzosek. But to his dismay, Rafal Wrzosek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 13th match minute, ATL. POTRERO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Henrico to maneuver through the defense. If Roldán Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Totakoxe during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Prudencio Totakoxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rafal Wrzosek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covunco's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Wrzosek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Eufemio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafal Wrzosek's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Ruperto Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Covunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Rafal Wrzosek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 48th minute Rafal Wrzosek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Vigil to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, ATL. POTRERO's Fabian Henrico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Nabar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafal Wrzosek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ATL. POTRERO's Federico Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Wrzosek in the 59th minute of play. Fabian Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafal Wrzosek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Eufemio having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Covunco's goalkeeper Anastasio Nabar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 minutes, Baldomero Ermano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covunco and the ATL. POTRERO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafal Wrzosek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Federico Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, ATL. POTRERO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. Federico Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldán Cabrera in the 83rd minute of play. Conrado Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Roldán Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Henrico got free with Anastasio Nabar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Vigil in the 92nd minute of play. Covunco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
