Espín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Ixidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Espín's Melchior Ulslev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonzo Bonifaco, made in the 59th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Rodolfo Rafe put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Salvatore.
