Hugo Gartzi's late challenge caught a Dream AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Gartzi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dream AFC booed when Camiñaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Cordarrol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Gaitan in the 21st minute of the match. After the first half Dream AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eulalio Gaitans short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Mauricio Cordarrol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute, Eulalio Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Dream AFC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Dream AFC's Uriel Corderro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
