Gaudencio Salbatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario's zone, Tomás Jaunzuria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Balesio came out of the goal and Tomás Jaunzuria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Balesio stood somewhat misplaced when Ceferino Peru came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Gaudencio Salbatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ceferino Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Esteve Matro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario and the Sacrificio Humildad F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteve Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Sacrificio Humildad F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Peru.
