The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Carlos Pitin put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of mery jane:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tinoco FC:s goal. 37 minutes into the match, Tinoco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Cristofor came free, but Pastor Errolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Eli's late challenge caught a Tinoco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Eli helped the player get up and apologised. mery jane's Isidoro Felo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save mery jane from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, mery jane's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Nazario came free, but Isidoro Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Errolan having to interfere.

Severino Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. mery jane were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
