With a left leg German Seber saved INTERNACIONALE from getting behind. Roberto Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Seber having to interfere. Emilio Oro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Emilio Oro fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTERNACIONALE's protests and gave Emilio Oro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, INTERNACIONALE's Emilio Oro got a free kick in the 13th minute. German Seber came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre's Roberto Aragones. But to his dismay, Roberto Aragones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Claudio Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Seber having to interfere. Tigre's Roberto Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cheche came free, but Gilberto Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Christian Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Sotero hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. German Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Atauri made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Filomeno Nerio sent off a good shot on target. The INTERNACIONALE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tigre were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Roberto Aragones made the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Roberto Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Aragones in the 62nd minute of play forced INTERNACIONALE's goalkeeper German Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind INTERNACIONALE's goalkeeper German Seber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Isaias Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tigre's Roberto Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. German Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, INTERNACIONALE's Emilio Oro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Claudio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luiz Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Ladislao Abechuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTERNACIONALE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre the free kick. The supporters of Tigre booed when INTERNACIONALE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Martino struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. German Seber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre. The audience was convinced that Roberto Aragones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Seber was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Roberto Aragones received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Seber came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberto Aragones slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 96th minute. Tigre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
