Gustavo Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Inocencio Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Maureo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Malvin went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Pichuco Fco's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Malvin came free, but Gustavo Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Eztebe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, JACOBO URSO's Donato Soin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tomas Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Malvin was the one to do the kick off.
