Antonio Min scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Maureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Min made a kick off. After some careless play in the Pichuco Fco defense, Ubaldo Resto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Maureo. The Pichuco Fco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Maureo should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Pichuco Fco got a freekick which was hit by Caetano da Silveira. Antonio Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Resto in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Antonio Min's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Maureo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Garaile got free with Justo Gelacio in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Gelacio having to interfere. Gustavo Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Resto in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Portugalete were awarded a corner. Adolfo Aritza went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Aritza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Maureo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the match, Pichuco Fco's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Resto came free, but Gustavo Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pichuco Fco's zone, Antonio Min stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Maureo came out of the goal and Antonio Min tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Barea hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
