Esteban Eneas's late challenge caught a Servedia Olmos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Eneas helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Anselmo Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Servedia Olmos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Chano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Abel Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Chano having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bernardo Domenec notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Patronato FC's Mateo Chano. Mateo Chano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes Servedia Olmos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Domenec. After 30 minutes, Ettore Coco made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Servedia Olmos F.C's Santos Gaitano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes of play, Servedia Olmos F.C's Anselmo Castel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Chano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Ettore Coco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Gaitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ettore Coco in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Gaitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos Gaitano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Argider in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Patronato FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Coco. Patronato FC's Mateo Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Domenec in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Castel made a kick off. Patronato FC's Mateo Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Patronato FC from getting a goal against them. Santos Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Coco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patronato FC's Mateo Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Castel in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Servedia Olmos F.C defense, Zeledon Argider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Gaitano. The Servedia Olmos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Gaitano should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Laureano Ursino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Chano. Patronato FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Ursino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Patronato FC's Mateo Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Castel in the 65th minute of play. Anselmo Castel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Emesto during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Patronato FC's Mauricio Emesto got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to Servedia Olmos F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anselmo Castel hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Anselmo Castel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Servedia Olmos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Servedia Olmos F.C played a much better game than Patronato FC and deserved their victory. The Patronato FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
