The supporters of Patronato FC booed when Leoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Vladimiro Senon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leoni's Bonifacio Enekoitz didn't even have to move. 17 minutes into the match, Leoni's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Argider came free, but Bonifacio Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Argider struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Bonifacio Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patronato FC. Mateo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Seveneijns in the 21st minute of the match. Zeledon Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Enekoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Argider went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cresenciano in the 33rd minute of play forced Patronato FC's goalkeeper Mateo Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Argider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Leoni's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Coco came free, but Bonifacio Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leoni's zone, Ettore Coco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Enekoitz came out of the goal and Ettore Coco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Coco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Zeledon Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Philippe Seveneijns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leoni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patronato FC the free kick. Philippe Seveneijns kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Patronato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Cresenciano came free, but Mateo Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Leoni's Luis Cresenciano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Chano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philippe Seveneijns hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Patronato FC's Ettore Coco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Enekoitz. That made the score 2-2 after 69 minutes of play. If Francisco Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Leoni's zone, Zeledon Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Enekoitz came out of the goal and Zeledon Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Patronato FC's Ettore Coco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Enekoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ettore Coco took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Bonifacio Enekoitz to make any attempt to save it.
