Christian Caradaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ciro Ubendu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Iwo Jastrowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Caradaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Iwo Jastrowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Caradaro. Boca Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwo Jastrowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Iwo Jastrowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iwo Jastrowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Ubendu spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Boca Jrs's goal. When Iwo Jastrowicz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Azara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Jastrowicz couldn't finish the play. Octavio Martino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Osorio having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwo Jastrowicz was the one to do the kick off. When Angel Cesario fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Jrs's protests and gave Angel Cesario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Cesario to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ciro Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Ubendu in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Octavio Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Jrs and the Azara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Caradaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Jastrowicz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Jrs's zone, Iwo Jastrowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Caradaro came out of the goal and Iwo Jastrowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iwo Jastrowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Azara got a freekick which was hit by Israel Serapio. Azara played a much better game than Boca Jrs and deserved their victory. The Boca Jrs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
