The supporters of Cochrane AFC booed when Caldera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jorge Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jorge Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochrane AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Jorge Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochrane AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Ourente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Erauso got free with Joel Valiente in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 15 minutes into the game, one of Caldera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Matia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jorge Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joel Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Caldera defense, Nicolas Libertad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Valiente. The Caldera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Valiente should have stopped the shot. Angelo Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Caldera getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Benigno Unai hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Caldera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelo Erauso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sixto Lixandro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Angelo Erauso made a precise shot to the right of Joel Valiente. Caldera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Caldera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Ourente 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Blas Lope who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Joel Valiente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Ourente was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jorge Ourente notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Caldera's Joel Valiente. Joel Valiente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Jorge Ourente made a precise shot to the right of Joel Valiente. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Caldera's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ourente came free, but Joel Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Ourente in the 77th minute of play forced Caldera's goalkeeper Joel Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Valiente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Ourente's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Nicolas Libertad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Valiente having to make a save. If Jorge Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Joel Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Blas Lope came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cochrane AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Lope couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cochrane AFC fully deserved thier win.
