The supporters of Atletico manteca booed when Paltoroa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Lidon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Crispo in the 17th minute. Roman Lon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Paltoroa AFC's zone, Nemesio Betadur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Lidon came out of the goal and Nemesio Betadur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benedicto Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Fanuco in the 24th minute of play. Danilo Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Orkatz in the 25th minute of the match. Paltoroa AFC's Francisco Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Roman Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico manteca's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Lons short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Benedicto Lidon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anacleto Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Lidon having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Roman Lon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedicto Lidon, 2-0. In the 44th minute, Roman Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, one of Atletico manteca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Gasteiz was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Paltoroa AFC's Francisco Fanuco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Pero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Anacleto Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Roque Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anacleto Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anacleto Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Gasteiz in the 68th minute of the match. Francisco Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Nemesio Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atletico manteca's Nemesio Betadur got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Anacleto Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Lidon having to interfere. When Roque Gasteiz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Atletico manteca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Gasteiz couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Anacleto Crispo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Lidon. Paltoroa AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Crispo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Atletico manteca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
