After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Isidro Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belgrano's Severino Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Cordeiro in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Quintan in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Cebo saved Belgrano from getting behind. Isidro Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Cebo having to make a save. Belgrano were furious when Dante Dominix was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgrano! Severino Cebo went to the wrong direction when Cipriano Espiridion was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Jonas Txordon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Saladas FC's goalkeeper Conrado Gartzen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Tabb. In the 26th minute of the match Belgrano got a corner. Saladas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filomeno Micael ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 27 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Elazar. Severino Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Reyes in the 34th minute of play. Severino Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Reyes in the 37th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Severino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Haroldo Derwin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladas FC's protests and gave Haroldo Derwin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saladas FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Haroldo Derwin hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidro Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Isidro Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Cebo. Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ciriaco Quintan came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severino Cebo could save by the left post. Oscar Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Saladas FC's Cipriano Espiridion shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severino Cebo but with some difficulty. Severino Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Txordon came free, but Severino Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jonas Txordon took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Severino Cebo to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute, Ciriaco Quintan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saladas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 87th minute Isidro Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Cordeiro came free, but Severino Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saladas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
