Celso Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Orlondo having to interfere. Silvio Oto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AsociaciónLíricadeFútbol's Guillermo Jobo. But to his dismay, Guillermo Jobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Francisco Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luis Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Gervaso during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guillermo Jobo made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Jobo in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvio Oto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 87 minutes, Cristo Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AsociaciónLíricadeFútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Club Atlético Banfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AsociaciónLíricadeFútbol were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
