After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Serafino Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Barreda F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Txeru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Txeru got free with Enrique Avellaneda in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Teofilo Olentzaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Avellaneda. Charlone FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Olentzaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Charlone FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Oto to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Argider hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Charlone FC's Arnaldo Oto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Guifre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Avellaneda having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Charlone FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Aureo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Olentzaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ulises Guifre notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Charlone FC's Enrique Avellaneda. Enrique Avellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Olentzaro in the 66th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Charlone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Txeru came free, but Enrique Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Barreda F.C.'s Javier Gutxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save San Barreda F.C. from getting a goal against them.
